How to delete your Vahai account, what gets deleted, and what we are required to keep.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)
Open Vahai and go to Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm twice. Once confirmed, your account is closed immediately and deletion begins.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you cannot access the app, email hello@clarif.co with the subject "Account Deletion Request", sent from the email address registered to your Vahai account so that we can verify it is you. We will confirm receipt, carry out the deletion, and email you when it is complete.
What Gets Deleted
Deleting your account removes the data we hold about you within 30 days:

What We Keep
| Data | Why |

| Subscription and transaction records | Retained as long as tax and accounting law requires |
| Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics | Cannot identify you; kept for product improvement |
| Records relating to abuse or a ban | Kept where needed to protect the service and enforce our Terms |
Before You Delete
- Cancel your subscription first. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and are not cancelled by deleting your Vahai account. Cancel it in your device's subscription settings to avoid further charges. Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of the current billing period.
- Deleting your account does not delete copies of material you shared with other people before deletion.
